A discussion took place at the Faculty of Medicine /University of Kufa. Nooralhuda Hadi Khayoon, the student from the department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics tagged her thesis as (Effect of topically applied naringenin and hydralazine and their combination with minoxidil solution for hair growth enhancement in mice male). The study aimed to find out the comparative effect of the topical application of hydralazine in addition to minoxidil and naringenin with the active control group (minoxidil solution alone) on promoting hair growth. The results of the study showed that the application of the combination of minoxidil with hydralazine and naringenin significantly improves hair growth, expands its follicles, increases the total activity level of antioxidants, and increases vascular endothelial growth factor, but it has no effect on keratinocyte growth factor.
