Discussion of an Iraqi board research

A discussion of the Iraqi board research in the specialty of internal medicine took place at the Faculty of Medicine / University of Kufa. Hussein Redha Hussein, a student of the Iraqi Council for Medical Specializations tagged his research as (Evaluation of effect of serum calcium on outcome of patients with COVID-19 at Al- Najaf city). The aim of the research was to evaluate the effect of calcium in the blood on the severity of the disease in people infected with the Corona virus, as the results revealed that there is a close correlation between the low level of calcium in the blood and the severity and bad outcomes of the disease, as well as an increase in the death rate.
