A masters thesis was discussed at the Faculty of Medicine / University of Kufa. Ruaa Murtada Mueen, the student from department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics tagged her thesis as (Potential Lung protective effect of Clopidogrel and ticagrelor in Endotoxemia model in mice). The study examined the potential pulmonary protective effect of clopidogrel and ticagrelor, where the results of the study showed that both clopidogrel and ticagrelor have the ability to reduce functional pneumonia during bacteremia by modulating the pathway of inflammatory mediators and antioxidants.
