A scientific symposium was held at Faculty of Medicine / University of Kufa and in cooperation with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Teaching Hospital. The aim of this symposium was for the purpose of promoting teamwork spirit in medical work, it was entitled as (The Effective Medical Team, Characteristics and Skills). The lecturer, Assist Prof. Habib Shuhayeb, touched on the qualities of the successful medical team and the characteristics that the team leader and all members should have, such as, organization, distributing tasks, encouragement, communication and exchanging experiences and opinions in an atmosphere of mutual respect. This symposium is part of a joint cooperation program between University of Kufa and Najaf Health Directorate to exchange experiences with the aim of improving the level of services provided to citizens.
