A master’s thesis Viva

A master’s thesis was discussed  at Faculty of Medicine / University of Kufa. Ryam Taleb Hamza a student from department of  Pharmacology and Therapeutics tagged her thesis as (Possible nephroprotective  potential effect of melatonin and mk0752 in endotoxemia in mice). The study aims to verify the effectiveness of melatonin and mk0752 in reducing inflammation and oxidizing factors through their effect on the notch1/Jagged1 pathway, as well as reducing inflammatory mediators. The results of the current study showed that both melatonin and mk0752 have the ability to reduce renal impairment during bacteremia resulting from the method of cecum ligation and perforation in male laboratory mice.
