Prof. Saif Jabbar Al-Mayyah, one of the academic staff at Faculty of Medicine/ University of Kufa and the specialist in medical virology, has participated in the Sixth International Conference on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security (CBRN). The Conference sponsored by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in addition to National Security Advisory and it took place at University of Babylon for the period 14-16 November 2021. Al-Mayyah gave two talks entitled (Life-threatening deadly viral groups) and (Biological danger and biological safety), which included introducing the most important deadly and life-threatening viral groups and the deadly diseases that cause them, as well as the methods of their spread, prevention and control, and what are the necessary means to be taken in order to confront their dangers. It is noteworthy that the conference was with global participation including a number of representatives of foreign embassies, relevant ministries, and extensive international participation of Arab and foreign researchers, institutions and regulatory bodies, representatives of universities and research centers, as well as researchers from (20) countries.
