Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, then peace be upon the most honorable of all creation, Mohammad bin Abdullah ,the honest and trustworthy, as well as his pure and good family.
To Honorable chancellor of the University, Honorable former university chancellors, Honorable former deans, members of faculty Council, professors and academic staff, the representative of faculty in National Council, the Medical education officials, the Members of the Vertical Committee for Accreditation in addition to the Heads and members of accreditation subcommittees, our dear students and respected members of our faculty.
I would like to share with you the great news about the full, unconditional accreditation of our faculty, and I would also like to confirm that it is the first faculty in Iraq to obtain this accreditation for a period of six years.
This achievement would not have been possible except with the tremendous efforts made over many years in which everyone participated. Congratulations and it is a motivation to do more in preparation for obtaining international accreditation to keep this faculty distinguished among medical faculties in Iraq and to be a source of pride for all its professors, students and staff.
Ladies and gentlemen,
The National Council for Accreditation of Medical Faculties in Iraq, with the approval of Excellency Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, granted the Faculty of Medicine full accreditation after achieving most of the approved accreditation standards.
Where the Council took this decision according to the mechanism prepared for this purpose after studying all priorities and documents and verifying the implementation of all requirements and through visits and documents submitted by the relevant faculty and after communicating with the national assessment team and the representative of the faculty.
