Faculty of Medicine concludes its summer courses

In coordination  between Medical Education Unit and the students responsible for organizing, the Faculty of Medicine / University of Kufa concluded its summer courses that were held from 25-10-2020 to 6-12-2020. Where the participating professors were honored as well as the students who organized that courses. The ceremony was on Thursday and it took place in Imam Al-Sadiq hall at the Deanship. Prof. Raid Mohammed, dean of faculty, said, “We thank such initiatives that indicate the keenness of our students to learn and make up for what they have missed from the clinical side due to the pandemic,  and we value this desire and eagerness to obtain information.”  On the other hand, the Director of Medical Education Unit Dr. Wissam Al-Lami said, “On this holiday, more than ten training courses were held in which more than seventeen professors and eight graduates participated, as well as more than seven students participated in their organization where they showed  a high level of accuracy and arrangement at work”. Al-Lami added, “One of the most important factors for the success of such courses is the interaction of the professors with the diligence, dedication and perseverance of the students to gain information and learn skills.” These activities that were held this year are part of several integrated and sequential episodes that develop the student sense of knowledge and the desire to research and acquire information. All the attending professors expressed their support for the continuation of such courses and activities
