The team of volunteers from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kufa held an educational seminar on the importance and method of early detection of breast cancer at the Middle Euphrates Technical University. Assistant Prof. Shaimaa Abdul Latif AlFadhil, one of the lectures, said that the aim of the seminar is to raise awareness among women about the importance of implementing the program of early detection of breast cancer and how to apply it and it included a number of topics just like making the attendees know the definition of breast cancer and its spread and risk factors in addition to the importance of early detection program. AlFadhil added that the seminar was attended by female students, employees and instructors from the Technical Institute in Kufa, the Faculty of Medical Technology and the College of Technical Management as well as the female staff of the Middle Euphrates Technical University where the attendees was very intensive and interactive and all their questions were answered on this topic. It should be noted that each of the two Readers Rana Talib Alnaffakh and Rawaa Bahlool were among those who gave talks at this seminar.
