Under the auspices of the Chancellor of the University of Kufa, Dr. Mohsen AlDhalemi, the Faculty of Medicine hosted the fourth annual Spring Festival for Food, which was held by the Faculty of Agriculture. The festival took its place in the gardens of the Faculty of Medicine, where a number of students from the Department of Food Science at the Faculty of Agriculture participated in providing many food products manufactured by them according to health standards and quality requirements. These products included a variety of sweets, pastries, juices, appetizers and so on. The festival was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and a number of professors, staff and university students. The festival is part of the annual activities organized by the Department of Food Science to introduce the students’ ability to provide high quality products in addition to encouraging them to adopt productive projects in their field.
